Events That Require Separate Party Tickets at Disneyland Resort (2026)
While many seasonal celebrations and festivals at Disneyland Resort are included with regular park admission, some popular events require a separate, specially ticketed party. These events are typically held after regular park hours and offer exclusive entertainment, character experiences, themed food, and shorter attraction wait times.
Below are the Disneyland Resort events that require an additional ticket outside of normal park entry in 2026:
Disneyland After Dark Events
Location: Disneyland Park
Disneyland After Dark events are limited-capacity, after-hours parties that require their own ticket. A valid park ticket is not included unless stated otherwise, but most events allow mix-in entry a few hours before the party officially begins.
Common Disneyland After Dark themes include:
Sweethearts’ Nite
Star Wars Nite
Pride Nite
Disney Channel Nite
Special anniversary-themed After Dark events
These parties feature exclusive entertainment, themed décor, specialty food and beverages, character appearances, photo opportunities, and select attractions open with shorter waits.
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party
Location: Disney California Adventure Park
Oogie Boogie Bash is a separately ticketed Halloween party held on select nights from late August through October. This event is not included with regular park admission.
What makes Oogie Boogie Bash special:
Villain-themed treat trails
Exclusive character sightings
Halloween entertainment and parades
Party-only food and merchandise
Shorter attraction wait times
Guests attending Oogie Boogie Bash can usually enter Disney California Adventure a few hours before the party officially begins.
Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite
Location: Disneyland Park
Pride Nite is a separately ticketed Disneyland After Dark event celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. It typically takes place in June during Pride Month and includes themed entertainment, music, characters, décor, specialty food, and exclusive merchandise.
Pride Nite requires a separate ticket and is not included with regular park admission.
2026 Event Highlights & Updates
Haunted Mansion Wedding Venue — Starting July, couples can book an intimate wedding ceremony at the Haunted Mansion steps (early morning).
Updated Dining Experiences — The beloved Napa Rose restaurant has reopened in 2026 with refreshed culinary offerings, ideal to include under “Events & Experiences.”
Planning Tips
Purchase tickets early for after-hours events; they sell out quickly.
Use the Disneyland mobile app to check daily schedules and reserve experiences.
Timing is everything—visit during early or late hours for headliner attractions to reduce wait times.
Factor in special event menus and themed merchandise availability when planning meals or souvenirs.
